Come be dazzled and wowed with the sheer excitement and energy 42nd Street brings. This was my first experience with 42nd Street, yet I was surprised I was so familiar with much of the music. “We’re in the money” and “I only have eye’s for you” were amazing.
I had an extremely rough week and I must say I was really looking for a night out of just relaxation. I took my daughter to the show with me and we were treated to the best evening of just pure bliss…. from the moment the curtains opened to the finale I had a smile plastered across my face. Any stress and worry from the week just melted away with 3hrs of pure happiness and talent.
I had no idea the show had such a strong tap theme…. the amount of talent and energy they exuded was just unbelievable. They were so together and on queue that if you had closed you eye, the 30 people tapping on stage easily sounded as one. You couldn’t help but fall in love with the sweet innocent talent of “Peggy Sawyer” played by Caitlin Ehlinger and the seductive charisma that “Julian Marsh” brought played by Matthew J Taylor, could make any girl go weak in the knees.
So if you are looking for a good time or to just mentally escape and enjoy a thrillingly happy evening, then you will want to make sure to catch 42nd Street in PDX while they are in town. Dates are limited and tickets are on sale now!
