Check Out The Family Inspiring Movie – American Wrestler

I just had the privilege of view the movie American Wrestler with my family. I have a son that has been in wrestling for a few years now, so I was immediately drawn to this unique sports theme not typically showcase in the movies. Secondly… I was impressed to see that it was on the MUST SEE LIST as it has a 92% Rotten Tomatoes Score. NOTE: That means it’s NOT rotten, but actually loved by audiences.

The movie takes place in the 1980’s and features a young Iranian boy who just moved to america and was facing the challenge of fitting in and finding his place in a new place, a new country, and a new school. After being bullied, pushed around and rejected from everyone everywhere he turned, even his own uncle, he fights to join the less than popular and flourishing wrestling team at school, only to find out that he had an extreme talent.

With hard work and tenacity, he fought,…he fought so hard to prove that he was worth something and had a talent deserving of everyone’s respect! He ended up pushing his hard work and passion to the limit and became the leader of his team.
