Fred Meyer – Your One Stop Shop For Your BumbleBee Gear

The Transformers franchise is at it again! Coming to theaters December 21st, the next installment, ‘Transformers‘ Bumblebee Movie! My husband and I grew up with Transformers, they were around way before the hit movies. We played the toys and watched the cartoons. So, needless to say, my husband and I are huge fans. I remember sitting in the dirt with the neighborhood kids playing with a huge bucket of Transformers. My favorite was the jet, definitely the coolest, in my opinion! Way back in the day when the original Transformers movie came out in 2007, my husband and oldest son had a special “bonding” moment over their infatuation with Meagan Fox. I agree, her and Shia LaBeouf made that movie a hit!

I am SO excited for the release of the new BumbleBee movie, especially since it is one that I can take my boys to.  Even though we have weeks till the release, my kid are all over the new toys and gear they found at Fred Meyer.

Fred Meyer is your one stop shop for all thing Transformers and BumbleBee! When we walked near the toy section, my youngest squealed and made a “bee”line straight for the displays! I shop at Fred Meyer regularly and I have never seen them have such an elaborate and stocked display.  .

He just traveled from display to display not knowing what to focus on because they said they are “ALL SO COOL”! I asked him what was his favorite item, and he couldn’t give me an answer. With choices like lunchboxes, mugs, water bottles, clothing and of course, TOYS…. I couldn’t blame him!

 

Just look at this face when he sees an Optimus Prime toy, I mean this a face of pure excitement! I had a super hard time telling him no…. only because I was holding on to a little secret.

The very next day, the kids came home to a special package from Hasbro in the mail. I already had an idea of what it was, so I let the kids have at it and enjoy the surprise!

 

Watching them play together and use their imagination melted my heart. In a day when everything is so virtual, I try to create lasting memories of play and bonding so they can pass down simple days of playing with cars and Transformers just like my husband and I remember!
