A Guide To Using PT 141

This product is used by men with ED. The drug can be effective for both psychological and physical causes, including the following conditions:

– Hypertension

– Obesity (BMI ≥ 30)

Tips to Administer
As with all intranasal sprays, PT 141 should be primed before the first use.
You may use up to 2 sprays in each nostril every 24 hours. The use of more than one dose per 24 hours has not been studied. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once every three days (72 hours).
To deliver the correct dose, follow these steps:
- Hold the medicine bottle upright.
- Remove the grey dust cover from the top of the bottle to expose the glass spritzer tip.
- While holding the bottle upright, firmly twist off the cap at the base of the nozzle until it snaps into position in the locked position.
- Insert the tip of the nozzle into one nostril. Pointing nozzle slightly toward the nose bridge, apply firm pressure to the bottle while inhaling deeply through your nose.
- While still holding the bottle upright, twist off the cap at the base of the spritzer tip and remove it from the bottle. Discard cap.
- While holding the bottle upright, firmly twist the spritzer tip over the top of the bottle until it snaps into place.
- Repeat steps 3-6 in the other nostril if necessary.
- Wash hands with soap and water after use.
How Does It Work?
The drug works by activating the melanocortin receptor, MC4R. Stimulation of this receptor leads to increased levels of cAMP in the cells, which then initiates vasodilation and an increased inflow of blood to the corpus cavernosum.
