If school is out and you are looking for a great way to kick off Summer…… then you need to head over to your nearest theater and see Maleficent TODAY!!!! I had the privilege to preview the advanced screening the other day and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Angelina Jolie plays the perfect misunderstood villain that you will grow to love.
At first I wasn’t too sure if I would like this film as I really don’t care for mystical/fantasy type movies because they just seem too far fetched and a little corny but the style and theme fit very well and made the story actually make since leading to just the perfect amount of make-believe and magic.
You will find yourself rooting and falling in love with the “villain” leading to the ultimate twist…… you will laugh and cry and let yourself capture for a moment a little bit of that childhood Disney magic in this enchanted movie.
This is definably a must see in the theater, so you can take advantage of the amazing 3D clarity and depth. Maleficent is in a theater near you starting March 31.
STORY SYNOPSIS:
“Maleficent” explores the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the classic “Sleeping Beauty” and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king’s newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.
