Smithsonian magazine’s 11th annual Museum Day Live! is taking place Saturday, September 26th 2015.
On this day museums across the country offer FREE admission for those who download a Museum Day Live! ticket.
Each year this event has grown with more and more museums participating. This year there are 1,300 museums nationwide opening their doors free of charge!
Mashable recently described Museum Day Live! as an opportunity to see “a full-sized car made from pop-can pull-tabs. Taylor Swift’s concert costumes. Intricate artwork made from buckets-o-bugs” free of charge.
