(PORTLAND, OR) – U.S. Bank Broadway in Portland today announced that seats in the first two rows of the orchestra level will be available for $30 for every performance of RENT, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical. The $30 tickets are available for in-person purchases at the Keller Auditorium Box Office, located at 222 SW Clay St., on the day of each performance only, two hours prior to the show. The limited number of $30 tickets are available for cash only purchases and are limited to two tickets per person, first-come, first-served.
The tradition of the value-priced tickets began in 1996 in New York when the show moved to Broadway after a sold-out run in a small downtown theatre. The producers of the show are committed to continuing the tradition of offering accessible orchestra seats in each city the show will play.
The RENT 20th Anniversary Tour will be at Portland’s Keller Auditorium for five performances only. The schedule for the Portland engagement is:
Friday, January 20 7:30pm
Saturday, January 21 2:00pm – ASL/ Audio Described Performance 7:30pm
Sunday, January 22 1:00pm /6:30pm – Open Caption Performance
