Have you made your blogger smile today??

I have been a blogger for over 3 years now but before I was a blogger I was a blog reader. I never knew the time and effort it took to deliver a deal, show off a craft or present a delicious recipe. Whatever area you blog about it takes about 30 minute to 2 hours per post and most bloggers will not even see a dime for their time.

Through the years when I was just a reader I found deals left and right, saved hundreds of dollar but since it was online, it was easy to forget that their is a person behind that post…. maybe a mom with kids running about or a dad who just got off a long shift at work.

It wasn’t until I started blogging myself that I realized how hard and time consuming it was. Then to top it all off social media sites like facebook wants to profit off of bloggers like we are Proctor and Gamble or Nabisco. Of my 10,790 facebook fans, only 4-8 people have been seeing my posts and deals ( most that will be expired soon away) and charge me $20 – $500 PER post, I am lucky if I make $20 a day, so this isn’t an option for most bloggers. It is so heartbreaking to put in all that time to find out nobody will be able to take advantage of it.

So I come asking you to please please, if you even for a second find a bloggers post, helpful, interesting, amusing, or beautiful please make them smile by liking, sharing or commenting on their posts….. you don’t realize how it will brighten our day to know that our efforts have gotten noticed.
