MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, returns to Keller Auditorium this March 2017 as a part of its final farewell tour. I was so excited to take my mother to this show…. to see her face light up as she told me these were all her favorite songs when she was in high school was so special. It was a great bonding moment because even I knew all the word to some of the hit songs like  “Dancing Queen”, “S.O.S.” , “Money, Money, Money” and my favorite …“Take a Chance on Me,” MAMMA MIA! is a celebration of mothers and daughters, old friends and new family found.

You know this a spectacular must see show when it has been labeled as the eighth longest running show in Broadway history and one of only five musicals to have run for more than ten years on Broadway…. so you want to make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to see it for the last time in your home show.

This show had me smiling and singing along from the very beginning! You will fall in love with the heart warming love the mother Betsy Padamonsky (Donna) and daughter Lizzie Markson (Sophie) have for each other. But… my favorite characters were Donna’s best friends Sarah Smith (Rosie) and Niki Badua (Lisa) …. when you watch… I think we can all agree that it would be amazing to have friends like them.
