I had the privilege to review app Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood brought to you by Giants Are Small. It has been named the “Best New App” by the AppStore and iTunes “Editor’s Pick”!
My son had a blast playing this app for hours… it has over 50 minute of video storytelling and 8 interactive games. The true treasure about this app is something your child may not even be aware of right away…. classical music! It is playing in the background throughout the story and during the games. Before long I noticed my son tapping to the beat. Many kids don’t get the exposure they should to this genre of music. How great would it be if your children could have this experience at their fingertips? With the deluxe version you can play all the music and get behind the scene sneak peeks.

Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood is a spin off of the original classic story, Peter and the Wolf. The story is narrated by Rock n’ Roll legend, Alice Cooper. He is able to really draw the kids in with suspense and excitement! The part that really amazed me was, that all the scenes are hand drawn and painted. This app really embeds arts into your child in a fun and adventurous way.
This musical storybook app is perfect for ages 3-10 in my opinion. It provides just the right amount of excitement, games, danger and education to keep both kids and parents happy…. well worth the money to download for your next car trip.
