Make Sure The Clothes Fit

It is very important that the clothes aren’t too tight on your pet. Restricting a pet’s ability to move might cause them stress and heart problems, which will surely lead to a short life for your furry friend. Make sure you don’t restrict their movement when dressing up your cat or dog. You have to keep in mind that these are living beings you are dressing up. If they aren’t comfortable, take the outfit off of them right away so that they don’t get sick or anything dangerous like that. Start With A Good Base

It’s really hard to make something look right if it doesn’t start off looking right. For example, try putting a hat on an upside-down Barbie doll head, it’s not going to work very well. If you are using felt for your pet’s clothing, try cutting out 2 tear-drop shapes sticking out of each other at the ends so that when you put them together they will form a circle when you pull them all the way through one another. Even if you can’t sew or don’t have any materials, there are plenty of sites that give you templates for free for hats, tails, bows, etc. You can even use google images to find pictures you want to print off and paste onto the clothes yourself!

 

Get Creative With Colors

Want brown shoes? Well, why not try light blue instead! There are no rules in this game except that you need to follow safety precautions when dealing with animals. After all, you wouldn’t want to put your cat in a pair of pants with a string so long that it could get caught on something and cause choking or death.

 

Dressing up pets doesn’t have to be a chore. It can be easy, it can be hard, but either way, you are going to have fun with your pet friend! No matter what they look like when all is said and done, it’s the meaning behind the outfit that matters. Even if you’ve tried 15 times and your pet won’t wear their clothes then try again later when they’re in a better mood.
