There’s just a little over a week left to celebrate Halloween…. and what better way to celebrate than shaking in your boots at a terrifying Halloween haunted house.
I had the pleasure of being a guest at the newest Washington haunted house out in Kelso.
The CINEMA HORRORS Haunted House
I was a little nervous attending this as I was taking one of my middle children to his very first haunted house, he’s 11 years old, he doesn’t scare really easily but I know some of these haunted houses around town could be quite intense. I was pleased to discover that the haunted house had the perfect amount of creepy and scare Factor without being being too violent and gory, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
They did however have some great special effect, and really took you on a story path that had some creepy scenario. The one thing that freaked us out, is one of the actors approached us while crawling facing up and backwards…. ekkkkk!
The cinema takes place in an actual abandoned movie theater at the old Three Rivers Mall theater in Kelso, Washington seconds away from I-5. They have two haunts for you to go through.
The FARMHOUSE and DARK LEGENDS OF NEW ORLEANS.
I would say it took us about 30 minutes to go through both attractions. The staff was very friendly and engaging. They played around with my kids and stayed in character the whole time. They even took the time to take a group photo of us!
The Cinema Horrors Haunted House is open Friday Saturday and Sunday with limited hours on Halloween night.
