I had the privilege to review Sodastream…. an at home soda making system. I must say I truly love this item.
As soon as I got my package, I tore open the box and had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. I couldn’t believe how simple and easy it was to use….. you screw in the co2 cartridge and you are ready to go!!! Seriously!!! Another great feature is it’s nice sleek design, I have been able to keep it on my counter top for quick and easy access. It has a nice classy look that I enjoy having out 100% of the time and it takes up no more space than a 2 litter of soda.
Why make your own soda…..
My favorite feature is “no high fructose corn syrup”. All of there soda product are made with real cane sugar. They do taste a little different than the traditional soda you are used to but I think they have a pure, better quality taste. I am also super excited about the diet sodas that they offer…. I have always steered clear of all diet soda because of the aspartame…. not with Sodastream, all of there diet sodas are made with natural sweeteners like Splenda. Ntureal colors have also been a main focus of mine, especially since one of my children are allergic to artificial colors. Sodastream is my new favorite kitchen toy and I am so excited to try all of there different flavors. I love being able to make sparkling water and add it to my fresh juices, lemonade, Italian sodas and the Sodastream is an excellent kitchen tool to make soda water for quick breads. Soda stream is also very economical….. no more bottles to recycle, bottle deposits to pay or wasted flat soda. Plus the cost to maintain you Sodastream is quite inexpensive. Each soda flavoring equals 33 cans of traditional soda and each co2 cartridge last long enough to carbonate 60 litters.
